I’ve gotten to the point were conversations about my age are pretty much as follows:

New person: How old are you?
Me: Seventeen. *waits for awkward pause*
New Person: …
Me: *casually* You thought I was about 12 or 13, didn’t you?
New Person: … *hesitant confirmation of my assumption*

Oy, I wish people would guess younger for me once in a while. ^-^;; For me it more goes, “Hey! Guess how old I am!” and then there’s this awkward pause, followed by, “Oh, are you…twenty-eight? Thirty?” And I’ll just stare at them with the saddest eyes ever. “Uh. I’m 23. ;-;” Yeah, that’s it pretty much. </3
